VLVS! All Hallow's Eve Party Blog Hop~Parting Gifts

Well here we are at the last day of our Viva Las Vegastamps! Hallow's Eve Blog Hop!  I hope you have enjoyed all the amazing projects and were inspired to stamp along with us.
Since we are at the end the hop I thought I would send you home with a parting gift idea for the younger crowd attending your party!

Tags for Treat Bags
These tags are a quick way to add a very personal touch to your party.  Plus while they sit on the table they make a great decoration!

All tags are 5 x2 1/2 manila mailing tags... I buy them by the box!  They were spritzed with Memories Mist Wheat Grass from Stewart Superior and Maya Road Pink Mist (heat set). I love the combination on the tags.  All images are VLVS! stamped with black VersaFine ink and heat embossed with VLVS! Ultra High Gloss Embossing Powder.  One of the stamps I absolutely fell in love with this week is the  Tree Background stamp.  I used in on every tag to give them a finished look... you will see bits of the Tree Background stamp in the edges of each card.  After heat embossing the tags I distressed the tags even more with Tea Dye for Tim Holtz!
Stamps: First tag- Poison, Pasteurs Death Potion, Trick or Treat Second tag- R.I.P. and Jack o'Lantern, Full Moon and Trick or Treat
Stamps: CemeteryFull Moon

Harvest Blog Hop ~ Creative Paperclay® and Amazing Mold Putty

Fall is in the air!!!!
It is time for our Harvest Blog Hop!
The Design Teams from
are joining together to share project using both products!
Come and hop with us you will have a chance to win some blog candy... Creative Paperclay®, Amazing Mold Putty & Amazing Cast Resin!

Direct links are below to each of the sites! HAVE FUN HOPPING! Oh and be sure to vote for your favorite project at the on the last post!

I had a few plastic leaves and I needed a bunch of leaves for my tree  that I am decorating for my table this year. Instead of trying to find more leaves, spending hours looking for them I decided to make them.(Note: Decorating this tree is an annual thing, it is something I keep in the holiday decorations.)

In the middle of the picture you see a white & yellow ball of the two parts of Amazing Mold Putty (AMP), there is a leaf on top... I do this so I can estimate I have enough to make my mold.  Mix the two parts well, then press the object , today I am using leaves into it and let it set a few minutes.  You feel to test that it has hardened by touch, but flexible to use and release your Creative Paperclay®.  Then you are ready to start molding!

I molded over 25 leaves and set them aside to dry. Once dry I cleaned up the edges with an emery-board. Now they are ready for paint.
My favorite product I love to use to paint Creative Paperclay® is Sakura Crystal Lacquer and Terri Sproul Mixers. The reason is when I am painting I am also sealing. The Sakura Crystal Lacquer is a sealer and is a one step painting job. For my leaves I used Citrine Pearl, Rose Pearl and Shimmer Garnet.  I love how the colors mixed when I painted the leaves.  Let the leaves dry.

Adhere the leaves with a dab of Sakura Crystal Lacquer... and spread the leaves around the base of the tree.

Thanks for stopping by... Please visit all the posts in the hop! Remember to vote at the end!

Hobby Baby! Pumpkin!

Wouldn't it be the cutest with a picture of the family at the pumpkin patch this year.

Today I layer some of the Graphic 45 Halloween papers with the Pumpkin frame.  I took the image and cut an oval so it would fit in the frame.  Then I cut the full image of the girl and layered with foam tape. Then cut another image of her from the hands up (coating the last image with Glasstique) and adhered with foam tap. Inside and outside the frame you will see Piccolo Card Decor swirls and leaves. They were embossed with Mossy Glen Enamel Powder. The images on the outside of the frame are fussy cut from Graphic 45's Halloween line also. A thin layer of  Glasstique was applied to stiffen them.

These make great gift for grandparents with Halloween pictures.

VLVS! All Hallows Eve Blog Hop - Creepy Candles

DAY 6 and still more party ideas for my VLVS! Hallow's Eve Blog Hop posts!  Yes, I have another  party idea.  Have you gotten any inspiration from our hop?  I would love to know.... Please leave a comment and let me me know if you have.

My next idea is candles, not just any ordinary candles, recycled jars Viva Las Vegastamps! Style!

Supplies:
Vellum
Heat Gun
Jars
Twine
Battery Operated Tea Lights
Recycled Jars
Collect a few small - medium size jars.  Cut Vellum in 2 x 11 inch stripes to use as wraps around your jars.  Stamp images and heat emboss with VLVS! Ultra High Gloss embossing Powder if you like you may color images.  I add a bit of color to the Full Moon with my Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  Using VLVS! Miracle Tape adhere the vellum to the jar.  Wrap twine around the top of the jars.  Now you have VLVS! Creepy Candles.

A good number of the stamps I have used these past few days come from two plates.  I have to admit I buy most of my stamps by the plate and unmounted.  Why unmounted when you have as many stamps as I do space becomes and issue!  PLUS you get more value for your dollar!!!

VLVS! All Hallow's Eve Party Blog Hop~CUPCAKE Toppers

Welcome to DAY 4 of the Viva Las Vegastamps! All Hallow's Eve Blog Hop!  Hope you are enjoying the fun as much as I am.

This week I am sharing projects made with paper and VLVS! stamps that you could make for your own Halloween Party.  Be sure to check the prior days (listed at the bottom of this post) if you missed them.
Now for our next Halloween Party idea!!!
CUP CAKE TOPPERS!!!!

These days cupcakes are all the rage.  Even wedding parties are opting for cupcakes instead of the traditional wedding cake.  So for our party I thought we should have cupcakes instead of cake! All you have to do is stop by your local bakery, pick up a few cupcakes and decorate!
I used one 12x12 sheet of paper to make the 5 rosettes for the toppers. I scored the sheet every 1/2 inch.  Folding, creasing and inking... the secret is out... I used my trusty glue gun to make the rosettes.  I am not going to go into details, as there are thousands of tutorials out there on how to make a rosette.  For the stake I cut bamboo skewers to the desired length and glued them to the rosettes.

Once I had the rosettes made I stamped my Viva Las Vegastamps! images and heat embossed them with Ultra High Gloss Embossing Powder.
The Ghost and Skull and Cross Bones were stamped on Kromekote Cardstock. The Faded Raven or CrowWitch Costume and R.I.P. and Jack o'Lantern were stamped on plain bright green cardstock. All were fussy cut and adhered to the rosettes with VLVS! Miracle Tape.

I was just thinking how a display of 1,000 of these would look on "CUP CAKE WARS!" Hope you enjoyed todays project!

If you missed the first 3 days of the hop here are links:

The challenge today is to share a picture of your Viva Las Vegastamps! stash on the VLVS! Facebook Wall... HERE!

I didn't have time to go pull out all of my Viva Las Vegastamps!   Here are just a few of my Halloween stamps I have been using this week!

Christmas with Sakura & Terri Sproul Mixers!

Yes, it is September and Halloween is next month, but Christmas is in the stores and will be here before you know it!!!

Have you ever wanted a color theme Christmas Tree?  Go to the store and find that it would cost $4 to $5 or more per ornament, return home and put up the same decorations from last year? You are not alone. At $4 that would be $200 plus tax for 50 ornaments... YIKES!
Last week I was at the craft store and found ornament blanks for sixty-nine cents that are usually used with acrylic paint. You heard right SIXTY-NINE CENTS and they weren't on sale!  I thought I would try painting them with Sakura Crystal Lacquer and Terri Sproul Mixers, with a  touch of Terri Sprouls Ultra Fine Glitter.
Supplies:
Square Micro Beads(Stash)
Ornament Blanks - Craft store (Michael's)

Working on a craft sheet, I mixed Crystal Lacquer with Gold and Tanzanite mixers in separate pots. Then  painted the base of the ornaments one color and the topper the opposite.

While the Crystal Lacquer was still wet I lightly sprinkled  them with Terri Sprouls Ultra Fine Glitter.  I added a few of the square micro beads on the toppers for a little added sparkle.
I love how the lacquer pools in the design of the ornaments! What I really like when painting with the Crystal Lacquer mixed with Terri Sproul Mixers is it was a one coat project.  No need for a sealer, the Crystal Lacquer is a sealer!
Yes, I painted the back side of the ornaments.

I am so happy with the results! I can make a theme color tree with 50 ornaments for $34.50 plus tax and a few supplies:  Sakura Crystal LacquerTerri Sproul Mixers and Ultra Fine Glitter for less than half the price! If your store has one of the coupons that is 40% off the total sale that would be a really have a great deal.
These are now ready for a bow and a tree!

The possibilities are endless. Your creativity is only limited by your imagination...

Just imagine what you could do with

VLVS! All Hallow's Eve Party Blog Hop~Candy Wrappers

Welcome to Day Three of the Viva Las Vegastamps! All Hallow's Eve Party Blog Hop.

As promised I am sharing ideas for your Halloween Party... all the ideas could be used for young and old alike! Today wrappers for those candy bars that need a little sprucing up Viva Las Vegastamps! style!!!! All stamps are from Viva Las Vegastamps! and stamped with VersaFine Black Ink.

Here are 4 wrapped samples, 1.45oz Hershey's Chocolate bars.
Paper size depends on the the size of your candybar, measure by wrapping your paper around the bar.  Cut to length with a little over lap.  I have layered my wrap. The green card-stock a bit wider than the orange card-stock (with the pattern).

Then with a punch add a decorative edge to the green card-stock and ink the opposite edge. Add the crepe paper: Lay VLVS! Miracle Tape on the edge of the green card-stock remove the second piece of protective paper and pleat the the crepe paper on it. It doesn't need to be perfect. It took a little practice, after a couple of times it goes quickly.
Crease the orange pattern paper a bit to give a general idea of the center front to position stamping.  Once stamping is completed wrap the bar and adhere with VLVS! Miracle Tape.
R.I.P.

Witch Costume
Stamps: before adding the crepe paper to the top of the green card-stock stamp the Spiked Fence, Witch Costume and Trick or Treat.
Cemetery
Stamps: Cemetery, Full Moon and Raven.

Poison
Stamps: Pasteurs Death Potion, Poison (stamped on green card-stock adhere with VLVS! Miracle Tape!) and Skull and Cross Bones.

This is a great project to get the help of the young goblins the house!

Today visit the Viva Las Vegastamps! website (stampo.com) and then post on the Viva Las Vegastamps! Blog Day Three something you learned there!
